Letter from Amyntas to Zenon (Date of reception: About 19th March, 257 BC) The docket tells us that the travellers were now in Boubastos, no doubt the Metropolis in the Delta. Amyntas recommends a friend of his called Alexandros, who had been requisitioned for some public service, and asks Zenon to get him excused on the plea of ill health.
