Letter from Philon to Zenon (1st April, 251 B.C.) Philon says that Maiandria has written to him about a cloak which Zenon has ordered her to weave. At present she is ill, but as soon as she is better Zenon shall have the garment. The writer adds that Apollonios has taken over the direction of public affairs and that Dionysodoros is acting as chief accountant.
