Letter from Apollonios and Menippos to Zenon (19th April, 248 B.C.) Two vine-dressers ask Zenon to speak to Metrodoros about paying them for night-watching. They have been to Bacchias inspecting and report that the new crop of grapes is promising well. They also found that Atpheus had run away, owing to some trouble about the cultivation of certain vegetable plots.
