Letter to Zenon (Beginning of 242 B.C.) A friend in Alexandria writes that he can give Zenon no definite news about the matter in which he is interested, but asks him to buy the cushions and the carpets which Neon the physician is impatiently awaiting. He adds the significant remark that Neon is in favour with the king.
