Loan of Wheat (Jan. 12th, 310 A.D.) A loan of six artabas of wheat to Heras, son of Melas, from Isidorus, son of Ptolemaeus, and his associates in the sitologia of Karanis. Interest of 50 per cent, i.e. three artabas, is fixed at the time of the loan, and Heras must therefore return nine artabas in Pauni (May/June) of the same year.
