Division of inheritance

(AD 569-70)

Division of an inheritance between a widow and her five sons. The five sons have inherited from their father, but are bound to certain obligations to their mother: gêroboskeisthai and nosokomeisthai in case of illness, (cf. 67097) paying the interest on a debt which she has, and lastly to pay her an income which the deceased has left (which is designated by the curious expression etêsion pekoulion. The hand is that of Dioscoros. The document is in three fragments, that do not join. Belongs to the archive of Dioscoros.
