Letter from Apollonios to Zenon and Panakestor (December, 255 B.C. or January, 254 BC) Apollonios informs his two agents that he has sent Maron to take charge of the Milesian sheep. They are to hand over the sheep and all the material and introduce him to the local shepherds who will be under his orders. Four of the boys belonging to the estate are to be given to him to learn his methods.
