Letter from [….]nis to Sesos (3rd October, 251 B.C.) The writer announces that certain persons have taken him to prison after searching and sealing up the house and after carrying off a quantity of meat. Sesos is therefore requested to intercede with Zenon. Similary a certain Achommneuis employed by Zenon has been put in prison by Horos the village scribe for some default in connection with the salt tax.
