Letter from Petosiris to Zenon

(14th September, 250 B.C.)

A letter from Petosiris, informing Zenon that in accordance with his order he has measured out to Apollonios sixty artabs of wheat as rent for ten arourai of hay. He asks Zenon to write to Leon requesting him to credit them with payment of this and also of ten artabs of lentils given to Theopompos for the pigeons.
