Order on a Bank (A.D. 99) An order addressed to a banker by a woman called Aphrodous requesting him to pay two women both names Charition six hundred drachmae, being the price of half a house and appurtenances at Theadelpheia, bought by her from them. At the end are acknowledgements of the receipt of the money by the two vendors, written by their respective husbands.
