Resignation of a secretary

(6th or 7th century)

Letter addressed by three persons to a high official, informing him that a chartularius or secretary named Pamouthius wished to resign his office on account of ill-health, and asking for instructions in the matter. The recto of the papyrus is occupied with accounts.
