Fares and Freights

(?)

Accounts of the fares charged for passengers and the freightage of goods carried by boats on the canals connected with Crocodilopolis and Ptolemais. Some of the boats were owned by private persons, others by the king; in the former case the king received in the latter three quarters of the proceeds of the traffic.
